Brown Rain Barrel |
River Rock Rain Barrel |
You may choose your own color. These are two example of popular colors. We usually keep a couple of the River Rock Rain Barrels in stock. |
In this photo, you see an example of the over-flow system. Additional barrels store the excess water for you. |
"Recycling rain water, one barrel at a time!" |
We are committed to building you a quality rain barrel by recycling food grade barrels from companies that have slated them for landfills. We only use barrels that once held food products; we DO NOT use any barrels that previously contained chemicals. The plastic barrels are 50-55 gallons and are made with a high-quality, 3/4" brass hose bib, 1 1/2" PVC pipe for the overflow and the opening on the lid (the water inlet) is covered with a screen to keep the mosquitoes out. The physical dimensions of the barrels are approximately 22" wide x 36" tall . We can paint them just about any color you want or you can choose to leave them in the original blue color. We typically build our barrels when an order is placed so that we can accommodate any special requests for placement of the overflow, screen, hose bib and the paint color. However we do keep a couple of barrels painted in a River Rock color in stock. A barrel is normally ready to be picked up or delivered (within the St. Louis, Missouri metro area) within 2-4 days after the order is placed. Please take a look at a couple of barrels that we have made for our customers. |
A painted barrel costs $85 and an unpainted barrel costs $60. |
